The first of Michael Jordan's two Olympic Gold Medals came in 1984, when, at the age of 21, he led the U.S. team in scoring with an average of 17.1 points per game. The U.S. team, consisting of college stars and coached by Bobby Knight, had little trouble in the tournament, going undefeated and winning by an average of 32 points per game. Jordan was the team's scoring leader in three games, including the gold medal winning game in which he scored 20 points. The offered jersey--made to the likes of the ones worn by Jordan at the time--bears "U.S.A." lettering stitched on front and Jordan's number "9" on both front and back. Jordan has added his large signature to the back number in silver metallic marker (“9-10”). A rarity as the 1984 Olympic jersey itself is a scarcity, not to mention the difficulty of getting Jordan's signature! Tastefully matted along with an original unused ticket to one of the 1984 Olympic basketball games, a Star card featuring Jordan in Olympic uniform, and a Sports Illustrated featuring Jordan. This massive custom framed display is almost certain to the the centerpiece of any Jordan autograph collection! Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Upper Deck Authenticated (UDA).
