A unique and highly collectible piece of storied Mantle history, presented here is a photo of The Mick taken on April 17, 1953. Taken after the game that day between the Yanks and the Washington Senators, Mantle is shown holding up the home run baseball from his historic 565-foot home run he hit earlier that day. To this date, it stands as one of the most storied hits in baseball history.

Recognizing the image and it's significance, Mantle placed a beautiful blue felt tip marker autograph across his chest, adding "565'" inscription along the historic baseball shown within the image. The autograph on this photo is in fact so impressive that it has been authenticated and graded GEM MINT 10 by the experts at PSA/DNA.
