Collectors of the rare and desirable will take special notice of this lot. Presented here is a vintage Reach official American League (Joseph Cronin, President) baseball (manufactured during Mantle's playing days in the 1960s), uniquely and beautifully hand signed across the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen, "Mickey Charles Mantle." A well placed, smooth signature from "The Mick", that certainly could be argued as a "10"!

Mantle full name single-signed baseballs are rare in any form, and were almost exclusively penned by Mantle on the OAL Bobby Brown balls that were in play in the 1980s. Combine the unique full signature with a very well preserved vintage OAL baseball and you have something special here. Impressive! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
