In one of boxing's all-time greatest fights, Muhammad Ali (then a young Cassius Clay) and Sonny Liston squared off on February 25, 1964. Clay was a 7-to-1 underdog but stunned fans by defeating Liston, one of the most feared heavyweight champions in history, and declaring himself "King of the world." It was the last time he ever fought under the name Cassius Clay. Soon after the victory, he denounced his "slave name" and from then on was known as Muhammad Ali. This original poster was produced in 1964 to advertise "fight pictures," a film of the famous fight which would be shown at theaters and other venues around the country. It is in excellent condition with fold lines and a few wrinkles here or there and has been double matted and framed to an overall size of 36" x 50." Ali has signed over his image in black marker, rating a near 10. The autograph comes with a letter from PSA/DNA.
