A Grunge Masterpiece: Massive 40" x 40" Nevermind Record Store Promo Poster Signed by Entire Band--And Even The Baby Too!Presented is a 40" x 40" record store promotional poster issued for "Nevermind", beautifully hand signed in black felt tip marker, "Autograph by Kurdt," "Chris A. Novoselic," "and me Dave," and lastly, "Spencer Elden - The Nirvana Baby."
The signatures of the band showcased on this poster were obtained in-person by a employee who worked for the marketing wing of DGC (David Geffen Company). Penned within the weeks following the release of the landmark "Nevermind" album, this poster showcases early signature style of Cobain and Novoselic that were only used for a brief duration before the band's meteoric rise in the winter of 1991.
Adding to the uniqueness of an already incredible piece, it has also been signed by Spencer Elden, who was none other than the baby featured in this iconic image (the signature was penned several years ago, prior to Elden's falling out of favor with his claim to fame).
The poster--which was dry mounted to a foam board of equal size for it's original intent as a record store display piece--stands in overall fine condition with some minor handling wear along the edges and some dings to the lower corners.
