The Only Known Authentic Signed Nirvana Concert Poster We've Ever Encountered!

Here is an extraordinarily rare Nirvana 1992 Australian Tour poster (19 ¾ x 29 ¾) signed beautifully in black Sharpie pen by Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Chris Novoselic. Quite unusually, Cobain has signed an enormous full-name signature. Indeed, this is the largest Kurt Cobain signature we have seen to-date. The poster was obtained at the Adelaide soundcheck on 30 January 1992, by well-known Australian in-person autograph collector, Ian Bell. Comes with a detailed letter of provenance from Ian Bell. Worth noting, due to the immense success of the Nevermind album (released September 1991), by the time Nirvana were in Australia, they were forced to play a number of upgraded venues. One such upgrade was from the Old Lion, to The Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide. Nirvana’s 1992 tour of Australia would prove to be the only time the band played Down Under. Ben Brown, Australian punk music and surf art icon, designed the poster for the tour. Although the poster has been duplicated many times, this is the original silkscreen show edition, obtained at the venue, and signed, the day of the performance. The poster is in excellent condition, with no pin holes, tears or fading. This is a supremely rare signed Nirvana concert poster, obtained during their historic Nevermind Tour of Australia. Indeed, this is the first signed example of an official Nevermind Tour poster that we have encountered. Comes with a detailed letter of provenance from the original recipient, renowned Australian in-person autograph collector Ian Bell, along with Letters of Authenticity from music autograph authorities Tracks UK and Roger Epperson/REAL Authentication.
