Big Poison has been big trouble for collectors of Hall of Fame singles, as his relatively young passing in 1965 limited the supply to figures well below demand. He recorded his 3,152nd and final career hit for the New York Yankees, the only base knock he posted in ten pinstriped games. He is best remembered for his fifteen seasons of service to Pittsburgh however, leading the Pirates to the 1927 World Series where they would meet the irresistible force of Murderer's Row. Offered here is an exceptional example of the already microscopic supply of quality autograph examples, an Official League baseball signed boldly on the side panel by Paul Waner. The creamy sphere itself has been well preserved and is in very good condition with the autograph standing out just as strongly as the day it was penned. Don't miss the opportunity to get your hands on this unspeakably rare offering! Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
