This 1970 Topps #123 card is the only recognized rookie card of one of basketball's greatest entertainers. "Pistol" Pete Maravich was always a crowd favorite. He had incredibly quick hands and could trick just about anyone who stepped onto the court. He had an incredible collegiate career followed by a superstar 10 years in the NBA, changing the game with his acrobatic moves. This rookie card has been signed Maravich as "Pistol Pete" in blue ballpoint pen. The card displays some handling wear, as condition on these tall and narrow cards was difficult to maintain (similar to the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar/Lew Alcindor" rookies). However, the signature stands out boldly and the rarity of this signed card cannot be expressed! Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
