Typed letter signed, one page, White House letterhead, 6.75" x 8.75", September 8, 1963. A brief letter penned by President Kennedy to Florida representative Claude Pepper to congratulate him on his birthday. Nicely signed at the conclusion by Kennedy in blue ballpoint pen, with Kennedy also crossing out the letter's formal greeting and handwriting "Claude" instead. In overall fine condition, with the original White House transmittal envelope. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
