Offered here is a concert program from the UK leg of Queen’s 1982 Hot Space tour, signed on the first inside page by the band in blue ballpoint pen. The signature of Brian May is much much clearer when the item is in your hand. The signatures were obtained on May 29th, 1982, at the Hilton Hotel, Leeds one day after the group had performed at Elland Road Football Stadium in the city.
Accompanied by a letter from the original recipient that reads:
‘Back In 1982 I was fortunate enough to go to Elland Road football ground in Leeds to see Queen live.
My fiancé at the time was the granddaughter of a chap called Sam Bolton who used to be chairman of Leeds United and latter chairman of the F.A. When he passed her grandmother and mother became shareholders in LUFC. Consequently they were given tickets for the gig which were in the directors box!! We were all given a programme which I didn't realize until I got home were signed!!!!
So I put it on a shelf with all the other programmes I had and there it sat for 40 plus years. I'm getting a bit past it now and it’s time to let someone else have its safekeeping’.
The program measures 24.25cm x 33.5cm (9.5 inches x 23.2 inches). Excellent condition. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services and Tracks LTD.
