Walt Disney remains a staple in American society even nearly 50 years after his death. Offered here for your bidding pleasure is an incredible display piece in the form of a presentation mat prepared by the studio to mimic an original cel from Disney's 1959 classic "Sleeping Beauty", featuring all of the main characters observing as Aurora and Philip get their "Happily Ever After". Adding to the allure of this piece is a gold colored pencil autograph on the matting from Disney himself. It was rare that Disney signed studio pieces such as this to anybody that didn't hold an importance to him. The print has been matted to an overall size of 15" x 17.25". The matting is separating from the backing, which could easily be fixed with a frame. The cel itself is in overall fine condition with the matting exhibiting some light dampstaining and rippling.
