Roberto Clemente serves as a fabled figure in sports even to this day. With his extensive charity work & uncommon road to the Majors through the Puerto Rican league, Clemente was bigger than the game itself in nearly every regard. Due to Clemente's untimely death in 1972, signed items in any format are scarce. Offered here is a seldom seen Spalding Super-Trapper baseball glove signed by Clemente in blue ballpoint pen. Although additional handwriting on the opposite side of the glove comes from an unknown hand, the rarity of Clemente's signature on this medium trumps any flaws present. In overall fine condition with general handling wear and some fading to the autograph. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA).
