One of the greatest moments in baseball history is captured right here. This 8" x 10" black and white photograph showcases Yankee legend Roger Maris in mid swing on October 1st, 1961, making contact with what would be his record-setting 61st home run of the season. Maris has beautifully autographed the photo in blue felt tip pen, "Best Always, Roger Maris." The photo has been well preserved and stands in excellent condition. Signed photographs of Maris are always in demand, and few are as fine as the specimen presented in this auction offering. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA.
