To appreciate the moment of this ball, which bears Will Harridge and Babe Ruth autographs, it must be noted the state of Baseball prior to the infusion of these two men, who many claim helped to save Major League Baseball. It was both Ruth & Commissioner Harridge who helped save baseball following the infamous 1919 White Sox scandal that riddled the integrity of the game, but with the infusion of superstar talent & league management the MLB would survive the scandal. This tremendous dual signed sphere can present as both a very strong single signed Ruth or Herridge. Remains in fine condition with moderate shellacking, otherwise fine.
