The autographs are in blue ballpoint pen, and the signatures were obtained in the Liverpool area between late March and May 1963.
The card is accompanied by a letter of provenance from the son-in-law of the original recipient, explaining the history of the item:
“My mother-in-law, the late Mrs. Trudy Topping, was given this item as a gift by a friend during the mid-late 1960s. It is believed the friend had it signed at a Beatles promotional event attended by all four members of the band, presumably in Liverpool, Merseyside.”
The item was kept safe in a drawer in Mrs. Topping’s bedroom at her home in St. Helens, Merseyside, until it was discovered by her daughter when clearing out the house in preparation for its sale after Trudy’s passing in 2020.
Overall in fine condition with three corners missing and tape stains on the bottom left and right corners. Is also accompanied by a full Letters of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) and Tracks LTD.
