One of the finest uninscribed Beates Parlophone cards we’ve encountered!

Here is a stunning black and white Beatles Parlophone Records promotional card that has been autographed on the reverse by the entire group. John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr have signed in blue ballpoint pen, while Paul McCartney has signed in black ballpoint. Boasting four crisp and bold signatures that have been penned in the classic order reading from the bottom up: John, Paul, George, and Ringo. This is quite rare to see as few cards have the names properly sequenced, in either direction. The autographs were obtained at the Majestic Ballroom, Luton, England on April 17th, 1963. Comes with a letter from the previous owner that reads: “The signed Beatles Parlophone card was obtained on 17th April 1963, at the Majestic Ballroom, Luton, Bedfordshire, England, where the Beatles were performing that night. lt was personally signed on the back by all four Beatles for a Mr. Foster, who was working there as an employee of 'Mecca', (one of two leading entertainment companies at that time). Mr. Foster gave the card to his wife, who in turn, eventually passed it on to their daughter Alison, of Trimingham, Norfolk; she sold it to me on October 7th 2004. Over the last twenty years, I have spent considerable time looking into the details of the gig. l discovered that after the gig, the Beatles ordered fish and chips and happily mixed with their audience, relaxed, and chatting. I established that the reason they were able to hang around, and were in no rush to leave, was that they were staying overnight locally, for a photoshoot nearby, the following day. On April 18th, they did the local photoshoot in the morning and in the afternoon, they did a photoshoot for the cover of the Twist and Shout EP. They were obviously very hardworking as they broadcast live from the Royal Albert Hall for BBC Radio, that same evening! It was also the day that Paul met Jane Asher! We have absolutely loved owning this set of autographs and they are very hard to part with. However, the time has come to relinquish them and allow someone else to enjoy owning a little part of Beatles' history.” The image on the front of the promotional card was taken at EMI House, Manchester Square, London on 21st January 1963 by Angus McBean. An incredibly well preserved and stunning uninscribed example for the most discerning of Beatles collectors! The card measures 5.75" x 3.5". The condition is excellent Accompanied by full Letters of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS), Roger Epperson/Real Authentication and Tracks UK.
