In March of 1964, John Lennon would take a foreshadowing step, producing the first solo Beatles project in any form with his "John Lennon, In His Own Write" novel. Often credited as a first look into the young Beatle's creative mind, with numerous improvisations & beyond bazaar images, the book, like nearly every other creative tidbit Lennon would put his spin on, was indeed an instant success. Signed original copies in any format are considered utterly scarce, with the only known signed copies by any Beatle previous to this offering being John Lennon himself. This incredible signed version to this day serves as the only known Beatles solo project which has been autographed by all four members of the legendary rock n' roll band from Liverpool. The words "The Beatles" appear on a small slip that has been layed into the book opposite the signed page. With all four signatures in near perfect blue ballpoint (c. 1964) on the inside cover page, "Paul McCartney," "John Lennon," "George Harrison" & "Ringo Starr," the hardcover 7" x 5.5" book itself remains in very fine condition, with expected handling wear and minor blemishes to the cover. Per our extensive research, this serves as the first & only group signed published Beatles-related hard cover book to ever hit public auction! For the signed book collector, this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a rare & desirable addition, as post-1963 Beatles group signed items hardly ever surface. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity & grading of MINT 9 by the experts at PSA/DNA.
