John Lennon leaves a mint signature on this June 1970 check, two weeks following the release of the motion picture "Let it Be"! Bank check, 7.75" x 3.5", drawn on the MacLen Music Ltd account (Lennon and McCartney's publishing company), filled out in another hand and signed by Lennon, payable to Leighton & Co. Limited for £12.9.0, June 3, 1970. In fine condition, with bank stamp to body away from Lennon's rich black ink signature. A small red ink cancellation stroke to last name, punch holes to top edge. An exceptionally fine signature from the Beatles’ break-up year! Encapsulated and graded a strong MINT 9 by PSA/DNA.
