Arguably the most influential keyboardist in rock history, most would agree that Ray Manzarek's style and sound was the driving force behind The Doors' unique sound. No other band in rock history has been so defined by it's keyboard playing. With that being said, we are proud to present here a Roland RD-100 pro model keyboard that was personally concert used by none other than Ray Manzarek himself! Manzarek tickled the keys on this high-end keyboard on January 19, 2008, while making an appearance with slide guitarist and fellow collaborator Roy Rogers at the Little Fox Theater (now Club Fox) in Redwood City, CA.
Accompanying this keyboard is a CD that shows four different videos taken from the stage the evening Manzarek used this keyboard. In addition to a video that shows Manzarek signing the keyboard during his set, the CD also contains videos of Manzarek playing a number of Doors classic tunes on this very keyboard, including "Light My Fire", "The Crystal Ship" and "Riders on the Storm". To date, this is the first time we've ever seen a Ray Manzarek stage used keyboard ever surface in the market.
Accompanied by an excellent array of provenance in addition to the exact video proof, including a Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) for the autograph. Doors fans--take notice! This may be your first and only time to acquire such a superb piece from rock's greatest keyboardist!
