This 3-Page Letter dated April 11th, 1960, has been handwritten and personally signed by Ty Cobb of the Detroit Tigers. The letter is a response to a young baseball fan,in which Cobb refers to wanting to write an autobiography that would be "the best baseball book yet printed". The book turns out to be 'My Life in Baseball: A True Record', released 1961 shortly after Cobb's death. The letter has been professionally framed to overall dimensions of approximately 30" x 40". Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication.
