Buffalo Bill Cody was a happy-go-lucky, adventurous frontiersman who had the world on a string - or, better yet, on a lasso. He served in the Union Army during the Civil War, served as a scout for the U.S. Army during the Indian Wars, and was one of the most famous showmen of the 19th century. This 6" x 9" letter on hotel stationary has been written completely in Buffalo Bill's hand and includes content related to his latest "dandy military & wild west show". Signed at the conclusion in steel tip "W.F. Cody". In fine condition with horizontal and vertical creasing and scattered handling wear and surface impressions. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
