All have signed in bold black Sharpie with an average rating of 9/10 in our book. In chronological order from the earliest to most recent winners, they include: Jay Berwanger ('35), Glenn Davis ('46), Johnny Lattner ('53), Howard "Hopalong" Cassidy ('55), Paul Hornung ('56), John David Crow ('57), Joe Bellino ('60), Gary Beban ('67), O.J. Simpson ('68), Steve Owens ('69), Jim Plunkett ('70), Johnny Rodgers ('72), Archie Griffin ('74 & '75), Tony Dorsett ('76), Earl Campbell ('77), Billy Sims ('78), Charles White ('79), George Rogers ('80), Marcus Allen ('81), Herschel Walker ('82), Mike Rozier ('83), Doug Flutie ('84), Bo Jackson ('85), Barry Sanders ('88), Desmond Howard ('91), Gino Torretta ('92), Rashaan Salaam ('94), and Eddie George ('95). Most have inscribed with their Heisman winning season. It's worth noting that the addition of John David Crow is very scarce on any signed helmet with this series from Steiner being one of the only known sit down events where the former Aggies great signed.
