Few items tell more about a man than his wristwatch, in the 1970’s this beautiful stainless steel Timex would be a status symbol for none other than Yankee’s catcher & captain, Thurman Munson. The quality of this watch is still evident as a few quick turns of the winder, and the watch kicks in gear as it used to for the Tugboat Munson. This one-size-fits-all watch is in very good condition considering it’s age, with rubbing to the gold plating & one missing link not affecting the wearability of the watch. A treasure for any Munson fan directly from Munson’s estate sale in 2008. Full letter of authenticity from former wife of Thurman - Diana Munson.
