Incredible one-of-a-kind Fender Stratocaster featuring a colorful pink, white, and green paisley and flower design that's been personally owned and played by Eric Clapton. The musician was gifted the guitar from Fender Japan in 2007 with an engraved name plate to the reverse “Eric Clapton,” and he played it mainly in studio, but also brought it on one of his tours. The guitar was later given to a tour crew member, Tommy Mann, in exchange that Mann would donate money to charity. Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Tommy Mann, which reads, on part: “I verify that Eric Clapton owned this Fender Stratocaster guitar…Eric Clapton was gifted the guitar in 2007 and it was mainly a guitar that he used in the studio, but he also brought it on one of his tours. I worked with the production company that operated Eric Clapton’s live shows…I had the courage to ask Eric if he would be able to sell it to me…He said that he’s open to sell it if I would donate the money to charity instead of paying him…Very noble!” Rare and visually stunning Fender strat, owned and played by one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
