John Wayne Rare Signed Biopsy Consent Form Dated 6 Months Before His Death! - PSA/DNA Graded NM-MT 8

Intriguing one-page document with accompanying paperwork, 8.5" x 11", dated December 26, 1978, in which an ailing Wayne agrees to undergo a gastroscopic procedure with biopsy at a specialist in Newport Beach, CA. Agreeing to the procedure, Wayne signed at the conclusion of the document in black ballpoint pen. The document exhibits some light wrinkling but is otherwise fine. Also accompanying the signed document is an formal admission slip from April of 1978 in which Wayne was admitted into the Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. Wayne is listed by his legal name (Marion Morrison) and listing has reason for admission as Hymotysis (coughing up blood). Sadly, a couple months later The Duke would succumb to cancer.

An sad but intriguing string of document leading to the final days of the life of a legend. Accompanied by a Full Letter of Authenticity and Grading from PSA/DNA, in which Wayne's signature is given a grade of PSA/DNA NM-MT 8.
