DS, signed with his less-frequently seen full name, “James E. Carter, Jr.,” one page both sides, 7.5 x 3.25, October 3rd, 1963. Carter signs a receipt for one bale of cotton, weighing 500 pounds. Nicely matted along with a presidential portrait of Carter and housed in an attractive frame, measuring 12" x 15" overall. Some minor scuffs to the frame itself, otherwise fine.
