A college basketball legend, “Pistol Pete” is still the all-time leading NCAA Division I scorer with 3,667 points scored and an average of 44.2 points per game. He took his incredible talent to the NBA where he was a 5 time All-Star and averaged 24.2 points per game during his career. His numbers could have been greater if not for injuries that forced him to retire prematurely in 1980. One of the youngest players ever inducted into the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame, Maravich was cited by the Hall as "perhaps the greatest creative offensive talent in history". Maravich died suddenly at age 40 during a pick-up game of basketball in 1988. Color 8x10 photo of Maravich shooting a free throw for the Boston Celtics signed in green felt pen, personalized “To Cos- I wish you health + happiness- Thanks for being a fan, 'Pistol Pete' Maravich.” It is of importance to note that most Maravich autographs simply stated "Pistol Pete", while this photo showcases Maravich's desirable full signature. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by dual Letters of Authenticity from James Spence Authentication (JSA) and PSA/DNA.
Pistol Pete Maravich Rare Signed & Inscribed 8" x 10" Color Photo w/ Boston Celtics (JSA & PSA/DNA)
