Interesting 8" x 10" matte finish color photo featuring two legends in the Star Wars universe--Joe Johnston and Academy Award winning designer John Dykstra--nicely hand signed by both men in blue felt tip marker and silver metallic marker. Taken at a Halloween party held by the crew prior to the film's release, Johnston decided to show to the party wearing a Ralph McQuarrie inspired Darth Vader concept suit. While the suit had been scratched from the design by this time, the image offers a great glimpse into the early design concepts for Vader and also shows how Johnston was able to derive Boba Fett from the discarded early Vader concepts. Obtained in-person and in overall fine condition.
