George H.W. Bush, as the 41st President of the U.S. (1989-1993), brought to the White House a dedication to traditional American values and a determination to direct them toward making the United States "a kinder and gentler nation" in the face of a dramatically changing world. George W. Bush, America's 43rd President (2001-2009), was transformed into a wartime President in the aftermath of the airborne terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, facing the "greatest challenge of any President since Abraham Lincoln." These two cut signatures, one by Bush Sr. and one by Bush Jr., have been framed nicely with an 11" x 14" photo of the father and son pair together, as well as a Presidential Seal and two laser-engraved quotes: "I can hear you, the rest of the world can year you, and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon." (George W. Bush); and "We are a nation of communities, a brilliant diversity spread like stars, like a thousand points of light in a broad and peaceful sky." (George H.W. Bush). Signatures are both authenticated by PSA/DNA with a full Letter of Authenticity. A fabulous, eye-appealing display piece.
