A terrific piece for the Thome fan commemorating perhaps the greatest day of Thome's memorable career, offered here is a Rawlings official Major League (Selig) baseball that was used in play during the September 16, 2007 game between the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers. The ball exhibits light uniform soiling from in-game usage but stands in otherwise fine condition. Along the side panel, Thome has boldly signed in black ballpoint pen and has inscribed the ball to recognize the momentous occasion, "9-16-07, Jim Thome #25, 500 Home Run Game Ball." An MLB Authentication official hologram is affixed to the ball to verify it's game usage.
