During the stretch of 1973-1975, Pete Rose won the NL MVP Award with 230 hits, was a 2x All Star, and batted .338, .284, and .317. His team also won the World Series in 1975. Collectors, take note - this is the perfect bat to own from the height of Pete Rose's career! Measuring 35" and weighing 33 ounces, this S222 model H&B Louisville Slugger bat shows light but certain game use manifested by several light ball marks, a red bat rack mark, and a single set of stitch marks below the barrel stamp. The bat matches factory records of Rose's order and also has his vintage number 14 on the knob. Pete gifted this bat to his attorney, Reuven Katz. To document the occasion, he signed the bat in vintage marker, "To Reuven Katz, Best Wishes, A Great Guy, Pete Rose." Bats with specific provenance such as this are in high demand, and this is a great Pete Rose used bat with direct history! Accompanied by a MEARS LOA with a grade of A8, as well as a full Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) for the autograph.
