Between the years of 1980-1983, George Brett would simply dominate at the plate. Mastering his ability with the lumber, Brett would amass an impressive .390 batting average, .454 on base percentage, .664 slugging, 1.118 OPS, along with AL MVP & Silver Slugger trophies in 1980. Hailing from that era is this perfectly graded game used T85 Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Measuring 34-1/2", 31.7-oz, this signature-model "T85" bat is composed of top-quality white ash and features exceedingly deep manufacturer's stampings throughout. Brett's uniform number ("GB 5") is written on the knob in black marker. The bat is has a very slight crack that has been repaired. Also present is Brett's well documented pine tar applied to the handle. Displaying medium to heavy use, and a perfect grade of GU 10 from PSA/DNA, this is simply one of the finest George Brett bats to surface! Authenticated with a full letter of authenticity & grading from PSA/DNA.
