A significant piece of wrestling history from one of the greatest figures to ever step into the squared circle, offered here is a custom "Reinstate Macho Man" shirt, personally ring worn by the late great Macho Man Randy Savage during an October 21, 1991 appearance on "WWF Superstars of Wrestling".

During the now historic appearance, Savage, who was forced into retirement months prior after losing a retirement match with Ultimate Warrior, was doing commentating for the televised show when Jake "The Snake" Roberts coaxed him into the ring. Upon stepping into the ring and being assaulted, Roberts tied up Savage with the ring ropes and unleashed a live Cobra into the ring, which then attacked a bit Savage. Known as the "Cobra bite" incident, this encounter led to Savage's reinstatement and became one of the most notorious and shocking events of the era.

The shirt, which was made custom for Savage, features ironed-on lettering on the back and special fringe with hand-placed beads along the arms and waist.

Acquired direct from Savage during a wardrobe liquidation by him in 2001, the shirt stands in excellent condition and has been boldly signed by Savage himself across the front in black felt tip marker. Accompanied by COAs from PSA/DNA & James Spence Authentication.
