This letter, measuring 7" x 9", is typed on White House letterhead and dated January 30, 1926. It is signed by President Calvin Coolidge, sending condolences for the death of a postmaster. Full letter reads, "My dear Mr. Vernon: I was sorry to hear of the death of your father, James M. Vernon, postmaster of Everett, Washington. Mrs. Coolidge and I wish to extend our sympathy to you and to your brother." He hand signs the letter in steel tip pen. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA.
