The Only Item with the Iconic "Say Hello To My Little Friend" Inscription to Ever Surface!
Offered here is the ultimate piece of memorabilia for the "Scarface" fan. This 16" x 20" color photograph showcases the legendary scene from the 1983 classic film in which a defiant Tony Montana screams out the classic line "Say hello to my little friend!" before unloading a cache of weapons while going down in a blaze of glory in the film's climactic ending.
While a number of images of this memorable scene signed by Pacino are in circulation in the hobby, this pieces stands as the ultimate example. Obtained by legendary in-person collector and lead authenticator for Beckett, Steve Grad, during his time with Pacino at his home during a rare private signing event in 2018, Grad was able to build enough rapport with Pacino to be granted an amazing inscription which reads, "Say hello to my little friend! Thanks, Al Pacino."
To date, this is one of just a handful of Pacino inscribed items known to exist (we sold a photo inscribed "Tony Montana" in December 2023 for $3,783), and Pacino only did a couple inscriptions during the signing event for Grad and another individual involved with the signing. And, this is by far the most extensive and desirable inscription to ever have from Pacino.
Few pieces from the modern Hollywood era could be considered "investment grade", but this amazing photo is one of those exceptions. Given the cult status of "Scarface" and in particular of the scene showcased in the photo, this stands as undoubtedly one of the coolest pieces of modern Hollywood memorabilia we've had the honor to handle.
