Offered here is a historical artifact from the 1977 Lynyrd Skynyrd plane crash in Gillsburg, Mississippi on October 20th, 1977. This pilots head phone strap belonged to co-pilot John Gray. The plane had left Greenville South Carolina en route to a gig at LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Due to running out of gas and faulty mechanical problems, the plane crashed in the woods of Gillsburg at 6:52PM. Both pilots perished along with Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, and Dean Kilpatrick. Accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity by plane crash survivor Craig Reed.
